YARD Landscape Design is a boutique design studio founded by Ricky, an experienced landscape designer who brings nearly two decades of international expertise to the Waikato region. Ricky’s extensive background includes working on projects ranging from multi-residential developments and luxury resorts to boutique residential gardens, with a particular passion for pool and garden design.

Growing up in Auckland’s north instilled in Ricky a lifelong connection to the natural landscape, which led to horticultural and design studies. His global journey included professional accolades such as 1st Place and the Allan Correy Award in the Australian Institute of Landscape Designers and Managers (AILDM) student design competition.

At YARD Landscape Design, Ricky combines his diverse experience and love of travel to create bespoke landscapes that reflect New Zealand’s unique regional character and the individual needs of each client.
